Ben Affleck has been putting all of his attention on his eldest daughter Violet amid his ongoing marital woes with Jennifer Lopez.

Despite the swirling rumors about a possible divorce, the actor, 52, is choosing to prioritize and and focus on his 18-year-old daughter as she prepares to start her freshman year at college.

The teenager, who is the eldest of three children he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, will be starting classes soon at Yale University.

And over the weekend, he was all smiles as he reunited with his ex-wife in New Haven, Connecticutto commemorate their major family milestone.

The Batman star 'has been very focused on getting Violet ready for move-in,' a source told Peopleon Monday.

'It's, of course, a huge deal for the whole family, and they've all been so excited the last few weeks,' the insider added.

After traveling with them to the college town, Affleck was seen in high spirits as he enjoyeda family dinner with Garner as well as Violet and their 15-year-old kid Fin.

Notably, he was not wearing his wedding ring during their outing.

Affleck and Garner's third child, son Samuel, 12, was not seen with them at dinner, and nor was Lopez despite her close bond with Violet.

As Affleck was enjoying family time, the songstress was seen looking downbeat on a solo outing in Los Angeles amid their ongoing marriage turmoil.

Their recent sightings come amid rumors that Affleck and Lopez — who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony — are heading towards an 'imminent' divorce.

Even though the pair have not publicly commented on speculation about the turmoil in their marriage, they have been spending a lot of time apart in recent months.

The couple are said to be living separately, and DailyMail.com previously reported they have prepared divorce documents to file at a later date.

Affleck notably purchased a $20.5 million home in the Pacific Palisades back in July while the Atlas actress has been staying at their marital mansion in Beverly Hills — which has been listed on the market for $68 million.

They did not celebrate their two-year wedding anniversary together nor was Affleck around to help Lopez ring in her birthday in July.

However, the pair did reunite last week for Affleck's birthday celebration at his Brentwood rental property.

Garner and their kids were in attendance, and Lopez quietly arrived shortly thereafter before spending that night with her girlfriends at a Bruno Mars concert for the opening of the new Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

And for Violet's high school graduation in May, Affleck and Lopez did put on a united front for that as they held hands while arriving together for the celebration.
